I would just like to stop for a moment and convey my deep and abiding respect for Nick.
This guy lost his wife and kid, was in a lot of pain, potentially in the midst of succumbing to alcoholism. But he still had the guts and the presence of mind to sass the fucking Devil.
Who, might I add, was masquerading as his dead wife, which would be traumatizing enough in its own right. And he manages to kind of hold his own there.
All that from a guy who never even gets the dignity of a last name.
